4. Informational Items
Public Content
This agreement will automatically renew at the end of the school year. Jefferson DeFrees wishes to continue the agreement. Currently, they are serving 23 students after school at Beaty-Warren Middle School. Next Year, they plan to serve 10-20 students at Russell Elementary after school and 20-24 students at YEMS after school. They did not get the program started at all the planned sites this year because of difficulty finding staff, state regulation compliance, etc. They will begin advertising in June this year so parents have ample opportunity to plan. I have received no complaints or concerns about the program from any other daycare providers. The building principals continue to be supportive of this program because of the support it provides for parents and students.
