The National Association of Secondary School Principals provides a Comprehensive Assessment of School Environment. The CASE surveys provide substantial feedback that combines all the elements needed to make substantive, sustainable school change that brings improved student performance. The Breaking Ranks Framework is a comprehensive framework for school improvement that can support all schools in the K-12 continuum. Administration is recommending that this framework be used to provide a foundation for high school reform.

Beginning in the 2014-15 contract year, The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Bureau of Career and Technical Education (BCTE) will be using electronic signatures (e-signatures) for entities using the eGrant system. Applicants will no longer have to manually sign and mail to the department all application and grant documents. Instead, authorized district officers will be able to affix an e-signature to a grant agreement and submit it to the department through the eGrants system. Coupled with eGrant system upgrades, the adoption of e-signatures should greatly improve the timeliness and efficiency of grant-making, as well as reduce copying and postage costs for LEAs and the department.
To comply, the Warren County School District Board of School Directors must adopt a resolution identifying and authorizing an individual to sign electronic agreements with the department. PDE provided a template for the resolution.
