The Warren County School District has implemented MTSS to engage students in high quality, research-based instruction in general education. The RLIS grant will be used to support implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) software designed to close the achievement gap early and place all K-2 children on a predictable path to reading proficiently by grade 3. iRead is organized around five foundational principles to deliver the very best early-reading instruction.
The software integrates (1) direct instruction, (2) guided practice, (3) independent practice, (4) adjusted instruction, and (5) assessment for mastery.
Students will develop as literate individuals through access to a comprehensive blended learning environment that takes into account their individual learning profiles and actively engages them in systematic, explicit instruction in foundational reading. Beginning with alphabet knowledge, print concepts, and phonological awareness, and working towards increasingly complex skills in word recognition, spelling, and fluency, iRead places all children on a predictable path to read proficiently by grade 3.
iRead will support implementation of MTSS so children have access to tiered instructional interventions. The Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology (FASTT) algorithm leverages the power of adaptive technology to continuously monitor performance and customize pacing, instructional load, and content for each child, ensuring instructional time is 100% optimized.
iRead also promotes family engagement with program-embedded features and online resources to help parents and caregivers with valuable downloadable resources to teach the alphabet and other foundational reading skills.

The Kore wobble stool looks like a normal stool, but the base is slightly convex to allow 360 degree movement. This allows the stool to rock and move - similar to a therapy ball, but with added stability. This improves body position (slouching is virtually impossible!) and engages the core muscles promoting active sitting and increasing muscle tone. The user should be able to sit on the stool with their feet flat on the floor.
Active sitting can help children to concentrate and focus on the task in hand - great for those who fidget and shift around excessively in their seat. The Kore Wobble stool is also an ideal way to practice balance, build muscle tone or can be used to spin on for sensory seekers to burn off some energy.

Executive Summary
Maintenance contracts and license renewals are due for PowerSchool products currently in use at the district. Finance+ software is used for all financial operations, Eschool+ acts as our student information system, Performance+ is used for curriculum mapping and lesson planning. IEP+ is covered in this quote for the renewal of our existing license.

Marc Mero's “Time is Now!” Tour addresses the issues of bullying, suicide prevention, substance abuse, goal setting, dreaming big, making positive choices and achieving your highest potential. The former WWC and WWE Wrestling Champion is praised for his ability to connect with students and people of all ages. The district is working with local funders to offer Mr. Mero's presentation to students across the county. In addition, a community night is being scheduled for March 1, 2018, at 7: PM at the Struthers Library Theater so students may bring their parents to hear Mr. Mero's message. The rental of the facility, as with Mr. Mero's presentations, will be covered through grant funding.
