Recommended Action :

That the Board of School Directors approves the purchase of 358 computers and monitors not to exceed the amount of $300,000. The purchase will go to COSTARS state contractor vendor that can provide the best price, as presented.

Executive Summary

The District would like to purchase 358 computers and monitors to replace aging workstations on teacher desks throughout the district. The deployment of these computers will help with the removal of Citrix. The Technology Department has received a quotes based on the COSTARS state contract through GovConnection , CDW and RetroFit. Funding will be from the dedicated fund balance for computer replacements.

SUGGESTED MOTION: That the Board of School Directors approves the Subreceipient Letter of Agreement for the MTSS Cohort Series (pending solicitor approval) and the expenditure of up to $10,000 in district funds in support of MTSS activities at Eisenhower Elementary School, to be reimbursed in full by the PA Training and Technical Assistance Network (PATTAN) upon completion of MTSS programming and submission of invoices as presented.
