Finance+ software is used for all financial operations at the district, while Eschool+ acts as our student information system. The amount of the renewal is included in the current 2010-2011 budget under the line item for technology maintenance contracts (012200000035000/435).

Electronic School Board requires annual renewal. This is a budgeted expense. The terms of the existing contract state that the district must provide Electronic School Board written notification of its wishes to discontinue service by April of the last year of the agreement.

Budget Work Sessions for the entire Board are scheduled for February 21st, March 7th, March 21st, and April 4th. These Work Sessions will be advertised and open to the public. The Finance Committee will work together to design the Work Sessions around the topics of understanding a budget, expenditures, resources and revenues. These Work Sessions will serve as a forum for Board members to work with administration on questions and concerns regarding the development of the 2011-12 budget, as well as a forum to provide input.
