Mr. James MacFarlane was recommended by Pa General energy as a geologist knowledgeable about medina gas wells. Mr. MacFarlane owns the firm MacTech Mineral Management and will travel to Warren fro Bradford to present information to the committee as requested at the December committee meeting.

Motion:That the Board of School directors approves a work order to Hallgren, Restifo, Loop and Coughlin Architects in an amount not to exceed DGS fee schedule for drawings and specifications for the project known as Beaty Restoration Phase II.

Masonry restoration contractor, Jack Fiske and Sons, have evaluated the condition of Beaty -Warren Middle School and have provided an estimated cost to restore the facade of BWMS.

Motion:That the Board of School Directors approves a work order to HF Lenz Engineers in an amount not to exceed DGS fee schedule for drawings and specifications for the project known as EMHS Fire Alarm System Replacement.

As mentioned before in other reports, an upgrade to the Eisenhower fire alarm system is necessary. Attached is a typical progression schedule of events necessary to meet various requirements. If the committee agrees that this project is necessary, we will need a motion to approve a work order to the HF Lenz Company, in an amount not to exceed the DGS fee schedule to proceed.

Motion:That the Board of School Directors approves a work order to HF Lenz Engineers for drawings and specifications for the project known as EMHS Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements in an amount not to exceed the recommended DGS fee schedule amount. The project amount is approximately $125,000.

Motion:That the Board of School Directors approves a contract to Keith White Excavating in the amount of $5,800 to demolish the residence and garage at 17 N. South Street.

Four bids were received for the demolition of the house and garage at 17 N. South Street. After careful review of bids with Solicitor, Arthur Stewart, Keith White Excavating was found to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The recommendation is to approve a contract to Keith White Excavating in the amount of $5,800.
