Recommended Action :
That the Board of School Directors adopts the attached Earned Income Tax Resolution, which has been amended by increasing the resident component to 1% (which enables the District to collect the entire 1% tax only in those instances when a municipality does not impose an earned income tax) and removing the 1% non-resident component that was referenced in the advertisements placed in the Warren Times Observer relative to the Resolution.
